For two days, I felt like royalty in this immense, paradisal getaway that is Imperial Palace.  Everything about it is just so dreamy and grand, from its 8-hectare expanse of rooms and theme pools…

The service is excellent as well, very courteous staff.  Let’s just say there’s no discrimination between locals and foreigners.  And the food…don’t get me started on Familia’s sumptuous breakfast buffet. I have dedicated an entire album for this. Hehe.

This resort is worth every penny spent.  It’s not just an ideal R&R place, but it’s also every child’s and child at heart’s playground.

PP-15
Sunbathe by the beach

PP-6
or by the pool

PP-16
Hangout with friends in the air-conditioned cabane. Complete with LCD TV, a mini bar and snacks.

So if you’re tired of those overrated resorts in Mactan and would just want to get away from the city and if you have money to spare, give Imperial Palace a try.  It’s good for the heart.
